Are You Tired of Hating Yourself?
I hear it all too often. “I hate myself.”
Or, “I’d feel confident if only……”
These are painful words to live by, and they impact every aspect of life. Everyone has their seemingly legitimate reasons. “Once I explain everything, you’ll agree, I should hate myself! I……”
can’t stop yelling at my kidscheated on my husband/wife
over/under eat
am not financially successful
don’t know what my dreams are
drink too much
can’t have a healthy relationship
have so much social anxiety I can’t meet or talk to people
can’t set boundaries/let people walk all over me
feel depressed all the time and I don’t understand why
None of the above examples are a good reason to hate yourself. In fact, hating yourself may actually be the cause of many of the items listed above. They are all examples of self-aggression, which in turn leads to a lack of self-confidence. In this 2 day boot camp we will explore and discuss the following through the lens of mindfulness meditation and non-violent communication:

How can we become more aware of self-aggression?
What can we do when we are experiencing self-aggression?
How does self-aggression impact our relationships with others?
How can becoming more aware of self-aggression impact our ability to be confident?
